When Pete Way Sr. opened Cataumet Auto-Marine in the quaint Cataumet section of Bourne, Massachusetts in 1959, he was driven by his passion for boats and cars – anything with an engine. The company focused on providing exceptional service, defined by its ability to consistently deliver quality work, on time, and with professionalism and courtesy – nothing more, nothing less. This unwavering commitment to service excellence continues to be the guiding principle at Cataumet Boats.
The second generation, represented by Pete Way Jr. and Sheila (Way) Giancola, remains dedicated to upholding the company’s founding philosophy.
Now, after 65 years and three generations, Cataumet Boats has earned a reputation as one of the premier Grady-White dealers worldwide. With the third generation represented by Griffin and Fernando, the tradition of exceptional service remains the cornerstone of the company’s values and principles.

Cataumet Boat becomes one of only seven Grady White Admirals Circle Award Charter members. This award is reserved for dealers that have achieved the highest level of sales & customer satisfaction worldwide. CBI will continue to earn this award for an unprecedented 27 consecutive years!
